E-Safety
One of the most important roles of Hersden Under 5's project is to safeguard all of the children in our care. We recognise e-safety as an important and ever growing aspect of this. We aim not only to keep children safe whilst in our care, but to give them confidence, awareness and knowledge, appropriate to their age, to deal with situations in which they feel uncomfortable, should they arise.
You, as parents and carers, must also help to keep your children safe in the digital world. We will support you to do this by giving you advice and access to useful websites, and by regularly distributing copies of "Digital Parenting" . This is a very informative and up to date magazine by Vodafone which states it is: "committed to giving parents the knowledge and support they need to help them and their families get the most out of digital technology, and deal with any challenges that might bring."
